 Turmeric
is a common spice that comes from the root of Curcuma longa. It contains a chemical called Curcumin.

It is a member of ginger family. It is commonly used as a spice. But it is also known for its medicinal benefits.

In few research it is found that turmeric has a protective effects against pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer.
